In 1953, Dolice printed this series of his favorite scenes of New York. For each print, he hand cut seven individual blocks -- one for each color of ink in each print. For the complete series, a total of 168 blocks were cut, individual colors chosen for each one, and prints were pulled on demand. It took the artist two years to complete the series.
